While Valve hasn’t detailed what exactly the new update will entail for the decade plus-old game, the update looks to add a survival map from the original Left 4 Dead into Left 4 Dead 2 called The Last Stand, which was never officially ported over. Turtle Rock Studios is still working away at their spiritual successor to the Left 4 Dead series in Back 4 Blood, but what about Left 4 Dead itself? Leave it to the community, which has been busy with countless mods and additions over the years, one of which is now being made official for Left 4 Dead 2.
